When He returns

When Jesus left us, He promised to return. No one knows when it will be. But christian are supposed to live their lives as if He might be returning any moment. Jesus gave all His followers clear instructions of what to do in the meantime: we should be walking away from sinful things, loving others sincerely, and sharing the Good News with this broken world. Even if Jesus isn't here in the flesh looking over our shoulders, we're supposed to be living for Him. Yet so many Christians think they'll live for Jesus later and just do what feels good now. How awful to suddenly realize your time is up and come before Jesus knowing not only have you failed to do what He asked, you're brought extreme sadness to the heart of the One who gave His life for you. Revelation 22:12. "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with me, to every one according to his work" The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all and stay blessed!
